Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program (Key Action 171) the Universidad de León has been the beneficiary of a
grant destined to finance mobility stays during the 2025/2026 academic year. Under the 2023-1-ES01-KA171-HED-000138797 project and in partnership with the University of Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon), the Vice Rectorate for
Internationalization and Global Engagement of the Universidad de León offers 1 grant for students from University of
Yaoundé 1 to study at the Universidad de León.
Requirements
N.B: visa procedures will be under the responsibility and expense of the PhD student.
Financial support
The grant mobility will be financed as follows:
In addition, for the selected beneficiary there is an additional grant of €250 per month for students with fewer
opportunities (provided that the home university communicates this at the time of nomination).
Time
The period of stay comprises a minimum of 3 months and up to a maximum of 5 months.
Applications Procedure
Applications for this Call must be completed and submitted exclusively online. The online application is available from
10 November 5pm until 07 December 2025 at midnight (Yaoundé time) on the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedicals
Sciences (FMBS) website: https://www.fmsb.uninet.cm/.
Within two weeks of submitting the online application, candidates will receive an email from the FMBS Office
confirming whether their application has been approve or not.

Interested doctoral students must complete the application form/mobility study research proposal available on the
FMBS website, filling in all the required fields and sections including submitting:
Curriculum Vitae (dated and signed)
Proof of Enrolment (PhD)
Motivation letter
Letter of recommendation signed by the PhD Supervisor
Letter/email of an acceptance from the tutor/supervisor with whom the work programme will be undertaken in
ULE.

Valorisation scale and selection criteria
The recognition of activities carried out abroad will be at the discretion of the PhD programme, which will provide
further information to the selected PhD students.
The selection committee will decide on a ranking taking into account the evaluation criteria specified below:

Please Read This Before Applying:
1 – Applicants should provide the name and contact details of an academic supervisor in ULE who will supervise their
work during their stay abroad. If you do not have any contacts, we suggest you visit the website of ULE
https://www.unileon.es
2 – All applicants are requested to provide a letter/e-mail of acceptance (to be submitted together with your application)
written by the academic supervisor from ULE. The letter should state that the supervisor is willing to work with you in
case you obtain the scholarship.
4 – Please fill in your application form only when you have all the data available (i.e. name of and letter of acceptance
by supervisor at ULE.). Incomplete applications will be rejected, no exceptions will be made.
5 – The dates of your stay should be agreed upon between the applicant and the academic supervisor at ULE.
Typically, this will be during the academic year 2025/2026.
