Call for Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility 2025/2026

at the Universidad de León (Spain)

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program (Key Action 171) the Universidad de León has been the

beneficiary of a grant destined to finance mobility stays during the 2025/2026 academic year. Under the 2023-

1-ES01-KA171-HED-000138797 project and in partnership with the University of Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon), the

Vice Rectorate for Internationalization and Global Engagement of the Universidad de León offers 1 grant for

staff mobilities at the Universidad de León.

Requirements


  • Applicants must be faculty members at University of Yaoundé 1.
  • Applicants will have to fill in a Mobility Agreement.
  • Be in possession of an acceptance letter/email from a professor/staff at Universidad de León (ULE)
  • with whom the work programme will be undertaken. This document is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Spanish / English at level B1 is essential.
  • Beneficiaries will need to take an accident and emergency insurance that covers the duration of their mobility including the travel days. We recommend the on campus insurance for their extensive coverage: https://oncampus.es/seguros/oncampus-pdipas/
  • Submit all information in French or English only.
  • Mobility must be completed before end of July 2026.

Financial support

Each grant will be financed as follows:

  • Individual support: 160 € per day (5 days of activity + 2 days of travel = 1.120€)
  • Travel expenses: 820 €.

Time

The period of stay comprises 5 activity days and 2 days of travel. An activity day cannot coincide with a travel

day

Applications Procedure

Applications for this Call must be completed and submitted exclusively online. The online application is

available from 10 November 5pm until 07 December 2025 at midnight on the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical

Sciences (FMBS) website: https://www.fmsb.uninet.cm/.

Within two weeks of submitting the online application, candidates will receive an email from the FMBS Office

confirming whether their application has been approve or not.

Documents Needed To Apply

Interested doctoral students must complete the application form/mobility study research proposal available

on the FMSB website, filling in all the required fields and sections including submitting:

 Curriculum Vitae (dated and signed)

 Proof of FMSB staff member

Invitation letter from the host department of Universidad de León.

Proof of citizenship (copy of passport or ID card).

From 10 November 5pm until 07 December 2025 at midnight. (Yaoundé time)

Valorisation scale and selection criteria

The ranking criteria will be based on:

 Quality (academic excellence) of proposed Mobility Agreement for Teaching or Mobility Agreement for Training:  15 points

 Overall objectives of the mobility: 2 points

 Added value of the mobility (in the context of the modernisation and internationalisation strategies of

the institutions involved):  2 points

 Content of the teaching programme/Activities to be carried out:  5 points

 Expected outcomes and impact:  2 points

 Dissemination of mobility outcomes upon return to home institution: 2 points

 Sustainability of cooperation:  2 points

 Quality of CV (additional activities): 5 points

 Preference is given the candidates who haven’t been on mobility within Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus and LLP programme: + 10 points

Selection and adjudication

The Selection Committee for the adjudication of the mobilities will be formed by:

The Dean of FMSB, the vice Dean in charge of Research and Cooperation and the Head of Division of

Academic Affairs, Education and Research.

1 – Applicants should provide the name and contact details of a professor/staff at Universidad de León who

will work with them during their stay abroad. If you do not have any contacts, we suggest you visit the

website of Universidad de León https://www.unileon.es

2 – All applicants are requested to provide a letter/e-mail of invitation (to be submitted together with your

application) written by the host department of ULE.

4 – Please fill in your application form only when you have all the data available (i.e. name of and letter of of

invitation by the host department of ULE). Incomplete applications will be rejected, no exceptions will be

made.

5 – The dates of your stay should be agreed upon between the applicant and a professor/staff at ULE.

Typically, this will be during the academic year 2025/2026.
